1. Scope and Controller Information

This Privacy Policy explains how Safety App processes personal data when you use our mobile app, website, and support channels. Safety App helps users stay connected with the people who matter most through emergency contacts, safety groups, private messaging, internet calling, voice announcements (Announce All), Message All, Call All, Alert All with current location, emergency-services quick-dial, essential help contacts, safety tools (First Aid Manual, Compass, Siren, Torch), and Important Documents. The Safety App is operated by AAA Safety App Private Limited, Office No. 933, B-3, Spaze I.T Park, Sector-49, Gurgaon, Haryana - 122018, India.

2. Data Categories We May Process

3. End-to-End Encryption

Messages between Safety App users are end-to-end encrypted - only the people in the conversation can read the message content. Safety App does not have access to the plaintext content of end-to-end encrypted messages.

4. Permissions and Optional Access

Depending on the features you use, Safety App may request permissions such as notifications, location, microphone, camera, and contacts. You can manage permissions through your device settings at any time. Many features - including high-priority alerting - depend on these permissions being granted.

5. Why We Process Data

6. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Depending on your location, we rely on legal bases such as contract necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.

7. Sharing and Recipient Categories

We may share personal data with service-provider categories needed to operate Safety App - for example hosting, real-time communication infrastructure, push-notification delivery, storage, diagnostics, and attribution/analytics.

Message All, Call All, Announce All, Alert All, group communication, and 1:1 calls and messages are routed to the recipients you select - your emergency contacts, group members, and the people you communicate with directly.

App Store and Google Play: When you purchase, restore, or manage a Safety App Pro subscription, the Apple App Store and Google Play Store act as the merchant of record and process the transaction. We exchange transaction tokens and entitlement state with these stores so that your subscription can be validated, renewed, restored, and synced across your devices. Their handling of your payment data is governed by Apple's and Google's privacy policies.

Razorpay: When an Business owner starts or manages Business seat billing, or when a user places a Marketplace order, Razorpay processes the checkout and payment. We exchange billing session, subscription, order, payment, invoice, and webhook metadata with Razorpay to reconcile Business billing and Marketplace orders. Razorpay's handling of payment data is governed by Razorpay's privacy and payment policies.

Marketplace fulfillment: Marketplace delivery addresses, order items, order status, and support details may be processed by Safety App staff, marketplace administrators, and service providers involved in hosting, storage, payment reconciliation, customer support, and delivery/fulfillment operations.

We may also disclose data to advisers, regulators, or authorities when legally required or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.

8. Retention

We retain data for as long as needed for service delivery, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, and fraud/abuse prevention. Retention periods vary by data category and legal requirement.

9. Account Deletion and Data Removal

You may request account deletion in-app or by email. We delete associated data unless retention is legally required. See Account Deletion & Data Removal.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards. See International Data Transfers.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, and request portability.

12. Children

Safety App is not directed to children below the applicable minimum age. See Children's Privacy Policy.

13. Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data, including end-to-end encryption for message content. No system is completely secure, and users should also help protect their accounts and devices.

14. Automated Decision-Making

We may use automated checks for fraud, abuse prevention, and service safety. Where required by law, you can request human review of significant decisions.
